Hair

Just like how you have no idea how your hair is gonna look in the morning when you first look in the mirror, a baby’s hair is super unpredictable. We can’t tell which kiddos are gonna be born with news anchor hair from day one or those that will be born bald. We also can’t say which one of those kiddos born with hair will keep all of it for the first few months or which is gonna lose all their baby hair. Also if your baby’s hair falls out or they are born bald, I have no idea when the hair will come in: maybe 2 months, maybe 2 years. But I assure you when it does come in, it will be luxurious and wonderful and will cause lots of whining and fighting when you try to comb it or braid it or brush it for those holiday family photos.

The one thing I do know is that most babies who are born with some hair will rub off/wear down certain parts of the hair on the back and sides as babies will turn their head side to side when lying down or in a stroller/car seat millions of times before they are able to sit up on their own.

But again, don’t worry it will grow back eventually. I promise!
