Sucking Blister

It is very common for babies to develop a sucking blister in the middle of their top lip in the first few days to weeks of life as both you and baby are learning the best mechanics for feeding. This will go away over the next 3-6 months with no real need for added intervention other than making sure that baby’s top lip and bottom lip are turned out like duck lips when feeding.
